In this class local herbalists and activists Janet Kent and Jen Stovall discuss the racist foundation of the American medical system, with details of the continuing injustices marginalized folks face under the current system. Participants will then consider the place of herbal medicine in the fight to address medical injustice and ways to create affordable, culturally sensitive models of care.

Proceeds from this class will benefit Blue Ridge Healers Without Borders.
