RESULTS is a movement of passionate, committed everyday people. They have local groups that span across the U.S., and together use their voices to influence political decisions that will bring an end to poverty. RESULTS volunteers receive training, support, and inspiration to become skilled advocates. In time, volunteers learn to effectively advise policy makers, guiding them towards decisions that improve access to education, health, and economic opportunity (both domestic and globally).

From the organizers: With this event we hope to share our knowledge of what has worked for us. We use advocacy tactics that are backed by in-depth research, and have made  progress for over 36 years, no matter who was in office. Open to individuals and also to existing groups that want to learn more skills that they can use for their own missions, and also an opportunity for folks to learn about the actions that we are taking to aide global and domestic poverty.
