Dean Johanesen Live

Dean Johanesen LIVE at Firestorm Cafe & Books performing songs off of his newest release on the WHOA Label A Time and A Place.  Johanesen will be coming off of his 4th tour to Autsin, TX to perform during SXSW in March and heading back out on the road through the SE in April.

Johanesen has opened for Mason Jennings, Martha Wainwright, Donovan Frankenreiter, Steve Forbert, Kevn Kinney (Driving n Cryin'), Howard Jones, John Waite, Bobby Long (Twilight songwriter), Grant Phillips (Toad the Wet Sprocket), and opened for Peter Mulvey in February. 

Join us for a night of songs and stories form Dean Johanesen who has been compared to Amos Lee or The Civil Wars in his sound and a young Bruce Springsteen, Mellencamp and Adam Duritz in his songwriting style.
