WNC Aspergers Adults United

Call me Danny. I'm 27, and I have Asperger's. In my generation, there was limited knowledge of Aspergers when I was growing up. I was thought to be autistic as a young child and then it took 12 years to get diagnosed with Asperger's. At this point, I was on the threshold of adulthood and had not been given any assistance in my adolescence.  This group is for adults with Asperger's who want to meet up for support, friendship, and fun activities. Who can join? Any adults on the autism spectrum. Those who have not been diagnosed but think they're on that spectrum are cordially invited to join as well. Helping and learning from one another is our main goal.

Family members and close acquaintances of those on the spectrum are most certaintly welcome to contact me for any kind of support and/or questions. I'm all about reaching out to anyone who has concerns about Asperger's as well as those who are shy. As i said, our main agenda is helping those who are in need.  Anyways, come check us out. What are you waiting for?! We're so looking forward to seeing you at the next meetup! We are delighted to see new faces.
