Since October of last year, people around the country have been calling and writing to their reps, staging sit-ins, and mass protests to demand their representatives join Cori Bush's "Ceasefire Now" resolution. This pressure has succeeded in motivating U.S. support for a "humanitarian pause," but as stated by Jewish Voice for Peace, "The Israeli government’s collective punishment and unfolding genocide of Palestinians in Gaza cannot just be put on ‘pause’; it must be stopped."

This postcard writing pop-up invites community members to connect and write to their congressional representatives to demand a long-term ceasefire in Gaza. This is a drop-in event and supplies will be provided by the organizer Joanne, a local grief worker, educator, and parent.
