POSTPONED Palestine is a Reproductive & Environmental Justice Issue

This event is being postponed, please check back soon for more details!

Join your local abortion fund and doula friends for an evening learning about reproductive justice and how the need for a ceasefire and Palestinian liberation is a feminist struggle. We'll also explore the connection of environmental justice to the genocide in Gaza. As we listen to speakers, readings, and Q&A/discussion, we'll have some hands-on activities including: writing postcards for a ceasefire, assembling reproductive justice kits including information about abortion pills, emergency contraception, zines about reproductive justice and Palestine, and banner and sign creation.

Suggested donation: $5-20, proceeds will go to the Carolina Abortion Fund, Mountain Area Abortion Doula Collective, and Fed Up 4 Palestine.

Carolina Abortion Fund (CAF) is a 501-c3 nonprofit founded in 2011 by folks who were tired of seeing patients delaying or cancelling their appointments just because they couldn’t afford the full cost out of pocket. CAF operates a confidential, toll free helpline that provides financial, practical, and emotional support to callers in North and South Carolina trying to access abortion care.

The Mountain Area Abortion Doula Collective (MAADCo) formed in 2019 as a grassroots effort to support people seeking abortion in Asheville and the greater Western NC area. They exist to support abortion access and provide care to everyone through a reproductive justice lens.

Fed Up 4 Palestine is a Palestinian led non-profit organization who was founded on the principles of justice and advocacy for Palestine. Their dedicated team is committed to providing easy, safe & trustworthy ways for communities around the world to help. @FedUp4Palestine
